Kokoon Global PLC, under the leadership of CEO Magnus Häggbom, today announced a strategic realignment of its operational structure to prioritise efficiency, speed, and sustainable global expansion in ultra-luxury healthcare and wellness.
Following an extended period of review, the company has decided to close its Norwegian entity, Kokoon Global AS. As a completely debt-free organisation with full control over its structure, Kokoon is able to execute this transition smoothly and decisively. The Norwegian company will be wound down in an orderly manner and will not be used again. All future operations, employment, and administrative activities will return to the company’s established and highly successful international entities in the UK, US, Spain, and other jurisdictions, which have operated effectively for many years.
“We entered the Norwegian process with great enthusiasm and a sincere commitment to establishing our headquarters in Oslo and was planning to creating more than 50 new jobs in the country,” said Magnus Häggbom, CEO of Kokoon Global AS. “We invested significant time and resources because we believed in the potential for a strong presence here. However, after more than a year of prolonged delays and repeated pushbacks in the approval process for our international shareholders despite their swift approvals in the UK and US we have made the strategic decision to reverse our plans for a Norwegian headquarters and administration. This allows us to maintain our strong momentum without further delays.”

CEO Magnus Häggbom and key leadership will continue to maintain their private residence in Norway and Sweden, while existing contracts with Norwegian partners will support ongoing collaboration and opportunities. Management and headquarters functions will now be based through the company’s established international operations.

This strategic shift is expected to deliver approximately 35% savings in monthly operational costs, along with additional efficiencies in invoicing and partner engagements. These improvements will enable faster hiring, accelerated project execution, and enhanced delivery of innovative solutions in ultra-luxury healthcare, senior living, elite sports performance, and mobility.
Kokoon Global Inc has already begun generating revenue, underscoring the strength and market readiness of its vision. The company is well-positioned to continue transforming premium wellness and medical services globally, including bringing much-needed innovation to high-end senior living and healthcare advancements that benefit markets worldwide, including Norway, through international delivery.
