The idea

Most people still buy housing from one company, treatment from another, and recovery from a third. The result is a queue in the public system and a set of fragments in the private one. Kokoon is the decision to stop assembling those fragments from three different owners.

Public systems were built for a shorter life. Longevity has already arrived. Capacity has not. Even in a rich country with a good health service, there are people who do not want to wait, and people who want a home with care on the same ground. That is the demand Kokoon is built to meet.

Two products, one owner

Prime Living is a home. A large residential building with a medical unit and nursing inside the same walls. A person who lives there can go downstairs in the night, or be looked after in their own apartment. Norway is the first country. The United States is the next market.

Advanced Wellness Clinics are a different product, in a different place. They are not inside Prime Living buildings. They are local doors you visit. The work is to screen, to check and to help — so that problems are found earlier, and so that people are supported in staying well. The first two clinics are in Gran Canaria and are opening now. The plan is three hundred clinics in thirty-four countries.

Destination buildings are the third piece: Copenhagen as the planned European hub, Miami as the planned flagship, and a later medical resort on Gran Canaria. Membership is for people who want Kokoon care without buying a residence.

Why the clinic is named an Advanced Wellness Clinic

The clinic was designed from the start as one roof. Medical people work there. Wellness people work there. The larger part of the group comes from wellness and complementary medicine. The medical people sit beside them.

The building is technical. The work is built around advanced equipment and AI. It is not a typical doctor’s office. The direction of the work is more automation over time — machines taking more of the routine work that a waiting room still does by hand. That is a direction, not a claim that robots already run the clinic.

That is why the clinics carry this name. Screening, checking and help, under one roof, on equipment chosen for the present and ready for what comes next.

Why Prime Living is a different product

Prime Living is not a clinic you visit. It is a home you live in. The building is large. The medical unit and the nursing sit in the same building as the apartments. If something happens in the night, a resident can go downstairs. If they need looking after where they already sleep, the care can come to the apartment.

An Advanced Wellness Clinic stands in a different location. It is the door for people who come in and go home. Prime Living is the building they live in. Same owner. Same standard. Not the same product. Not the same address.

Why the buildings are funded this way

A bank can fund a building. It cannot fund a twenty-year relationship. The moment the building is pledged, the resident is no longer the senior claim. That is why the plan is to pay for construction by selling homes and memberships, not by making a construction loan the main source of money.

This is a design rule. It is not a statement that every project is already funded, and it is not a promise that every project will be built. Each building depends on land, planning, licences and the actual sale of homes and memberships.

Why the people came before the buildings

A clinic only works if someone on that ground already knows how to run the door. That is why Kokoon was built in the opposite order from a normal property project.

For more than ten years the work has been to find the people and the places first. The group includes medical people. The majority come from wellness and complementary medicine. Most already work in their own field, in their own countries. They are already shareholders in the company. That is their skin in the game. They will take responsibility for the Advanced Wellness Clinics on the ground.

The same years were used to look at locations, so that a clinic is not announced in a country where there is no one on the ground to run it. The plan of three hundred Advanced Wellness Clinics in thirty-four countries rests on that work: people already in the company, locations already studied, responsibility already placed.

This is why the network can be opened country by country without first building a new organisation from nothing in each place. The buildings follow the people. We built that part together.

The idea is not a hotel with a doctor on call, and it is not a hospital with apartments attached as an afterthought. It is one owner, two products, and a home with care inside it: live well, be treated well.
